This policy explains what personal information CCC Daily collects when you use this website or join the Thirty for Thirty Challenge, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We've written it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are. CCC Daily is run by Antoinette Oguntonade. If you have any question about your data or this policy, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
What we collect
When you register for the Thirty for Thirty Challenge we collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- Your WhatsApp number
- Your answer to the registration question about what you want to start
We also collect standard technical information when you visit the site, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your device, through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To run the Challenge. We use your WhatsApp number to add you to the private Challenge community and your email to send you Challenge information. Legal basis: performing our agreement with you when you register.
- To email you about CCC Daily. With your consent, given by ticking the box at registration, we send you emails about the Challenge, our programmes and related content. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To improve what we do. Registration answers help us design better content. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
WhatsApp and what other members can see
The Challenge runs in a WhatsApp group. As in any WhatsApp group, other members of the group will be able to see your profile name, your number and anything you choose to post. By joining the group you accept this. WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies to your use of WhatsApp.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run CCC Daily:
- HighLevel (our website, forms and email platform), which stores registration data
- WhatsApp (Meta), for the Challenge community
- Zoom, if you attend a live session
These providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers maintain, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration data while you remain on our email list. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our systems within 30 days, except where we need to keep a minimal record to honour that request or meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
